Our Artwork
Artist: Renee Clifton
The centre of the artwork is the most important piece of the painting. It signifies the participant who is seeking health care through therapy, liaison, and support. The participant is also connected to the many other therapy services that Kimberley Therapy Services provide.
This is shown with the middle circle connecting to the other six circles and also represents how all the therapist work together. These are connected to the participant as the participant uses one or more of these services.
These services are physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, support coordination, behaviour support and admin services.
The health therapists are vital in helping people develop skills, overcome challenges, and achieve their life goals.
The lines on bottom left of painting represent all the participants and therapists travel paths and they journey they are travelling.
The ‘U’ shape represents the therapists travelling throughout the region to give professional health care.
The smaller circles represent the families and extended families of the participants and staff.
The many pathway lines represent the health journey of participants receiving the highest quality healthcare.
The painting also represents the natural environment that surrounds everyone in Broome.
